Hong Kong-Macau Adventure: The Summary

This is the twenty-ninth part of our 4-days-3-nights Hong Kong-Macau Adventure.

Our last day in Hong Kong is spent fixing our things because our flight was at 10:40 am. So there was no time to do anything else.

We boarded bus N21/N21A to arrive to HKIA. The trip took about 30 minutes since it was early in the morning. When we arrived at HKIA, we checked-in our bags and explored the airport. There was a Disneyland store inside and what’s surprising is that the price of the items there are just the same as in the park.

Our plane arrived on time and with a heavy heart, we left Hong Kong promising to go back again. The flight was uneventful and we arrived just in time.

And that ends our Hong Kong-Macau Adventure!

Hong Kong is a nice place with lots of tourists’ spots to explore. The first thing we observed about Hong Kong is that it is a very “tourist-friendly” place. Signs are everywhere pointing you to wherever you want to go and it is both in Chinese and English. The Octopus Card is an amazing thing and the MTR is just so easy to use. Be prepared to walk a lot! Macau is a quaint and peaceful place and if you have the time, go here even if it is just for one day. There are so much more to see in Macau compared to what we have explored so I think it is better if you stay there overnight.

  6. Your blog is sooooo helpful! We'd be going to Hong Kong and Macau next week. This has helped me a lot in planning our itinerary and budget as well. Too bad that the cable car to Ngong Ping is under construction now, (until June 2017), so we're still in doubt whether we'd visit the Giant Buddha or not. Nonetheless, your blog has given me a lot of great places and ideas to visit. Keep it up!!!

    1. Im glad we could be of help :) It's sad that the cable car is under construction, it's a really really amazing ride, but I think you should still visit the Giant Buddha if you have the extra time, it's really beautiful and worth it :) Enjoy HK and Macau! Have a great trip!

  7. Hi I love your blog. It's very informative. About buying discounted tickets in Golden Crown, did you reserve online or just walked-in? I was thinking of just buying there without reserving online beforehand but I have no idea if that's alright. Thanks a lot
