Hong Kong-Macau Adventure: Tomorrowland in HK Disneyland

This is the twelfth part of our 4-days-3-nights Hong Kong-Macau Adventure.

As the name implies, Tomorrowland is the part of Disneyland that features a futuristic + sci-fi vibes, and of course, who better to symbolize Tomorrowland but Stitch and the Gang! Since we had limited time and the next show will be starting in a few minutes, we only browsed through and only had time to enter one ride out of the five attractions featured here.

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR ASTRO BLASTERS
This was one of the rides I wanted to try but we were not able to due to very long queues. It’s an interactive ride that looks like you’re in Buzz Lightyear’s universe and you get to help him shoot moving targets like aliens, etc.

STITCH ENCOUNTER
This was the only attraction we were able to try in Tomorrowland because it was the only attraction which had a short queue. It is an interactive show where guests can interact with Stitch. It’s more of a kid’s attraction but we had a lot of fun because Stitch was so funny and amusing.

SPACE MOUNTAIN
This is one of the most popular rides in Disneyland and the only roller coaster featured in Tomorrowland. Again, long queues were seen here. It is an indoor fast, thrilling rollercoaster that features sudden twists, drops, and turns. Since it is dark and the only light are the effects featured, you would not have any idea where the rollercoaster would be heading next which, I guess, heightens the excitement.

AUTOPIA
This is also one of the rides we really, really wanted to try, but alas, bad luck still follows us. In this ride, you get to steer, accelerate, and brake your own electric car and cruise relaxingly along a guided track.

Autopia

ORBITRON
This is basically a simple spinning ride where you have your own “flying saucer” and you get to control how high or how low you go.

UFO ZONE
This is an interactive play area for kids which features many water squirting space vehicles and figures.

There are 2 restaurants located in Tomorrowland which are the Comet Café, which features mostly noodles and Chinese food, and the Starliner Diner which has fastfoods such as burgers, fries, etc. As usual, the prices of the foods here are high.

It’s sad we didn’t get to really explore Tomorrowland since the rides here looks really fun. Anyway, up next, The Golden Mickeys Show!
