This is the first part of our 6-days-5-nights Ultimate KL-Singapore Vacation Leave.
Since we entered Residency, the only time we could travel is when we take our vacation leave. And it is a struggle to take the same date of leave. Luckily, last 2016 we were able to do that and so the research and planning for our Ultimate KL-Singapore Vacation Leave has begun!
We were able to book a flight last March 2016 under Cebu Pacific, for a Manila to Kuala Lumpur trip on May 9, 2016 which costs 6,826php for the both of us, so that was 3,413php each with a baggage allowance of 15 kilograms, so over all, not bad. We had a bit of a decision making problem with regards to how we would be returning to Manila. Initially, our plan was to go to Kuala Lumpur, go to Singapore, and then go back to KL for our return trip flight back to Manila. However, after a lot of reading of other blogs, as well as a lot of computations, it was cheaper to just stay in Singapore and return to Manila from there. And it was also a lot less hassle. Our return flight to Manila from Singapore costs 314SGD which was roughly around 11,200php for both of us, so that was 5,600php each. Also, not bad. Granted, there could have been a cheaper flight especially where there are promo fares, but still a considerable cheap price for both of us.
As always, this is a DIY trip, we did not join any tour so that it would be more exciting (and because we have no money for tours haha). And also, just like before, this trip was made possible by a lot of blogs and websites who offered suggestions and tips on how to travel to KL and Singapore. We would like to thank all of them, namely:
