After all those adventurous and thrilling rides, we found ourselves in a more peaceful and quiet place, and the last place to visit for us, the New York area of USS! Strolling along the sidewalks of the area, you would feel that you're really in New York. From the impressive city skylines, to classic landmarks, to Sesame street characters, and amazing bricked building facades, this sets the scenes for big city fun.
Lights, Camera, Action! Hosted by Steven Spielberg
This is like a showroom of incredible special effects that turns an empty soundstage into a major hurricane hitting New York City. We weren't able to go inside this ride because the opening time did not coincide with our time. Too bad though, it sounds fun.
Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase
You get to go on a space mission ride with Elmo and Super Grover to stop Macaroni the Merciless in his evil plot. Sounds like a kid's ride.
KT’s Grill
This is a pub favorite featuring traditional Irish-American grill foods.
Loui's NY Pizza Parlor
A must-stop eatery for those who want to try an Original NY Pizza Slice and other Italian favourites.
Breakfast with Sesame Street characters
If you have the extra money, and you're with your family with kids, this is a must try. You can have breakfast buffet with the characters of Sesame Street. A bit pricey though, but probably worth it for you children.
Big Bird's Emporium
Said to be the biggest Sesame Street store in Singapore featuring a lot of Sesame Street themed merchandise.
Street Entertainment and Meet and Greet
You could either catch the Rockafellas or the Sesame Street Stage Shows. Unfortunately, we didn't catch any. If you're lucky, you could also meet and greet the Sesame Street characters.
After exploring all of USS, we went to the rides we liked most and tried to ride it a second time. We were able to do that with Transformers so hurray! After that, we went to the Hollywood area stores and did a lot of pasalubong and souvenir shopping! And after a super fun-filled day at USS, we decided to leave at around 6:00pm so we could get to the cable car ride going around Mount Faber line. We got the ticket via Klook and it was very cheap. So click on for our slightly failed attempt at exploring Sentosa before the sun sets. Haha.
